Disney Channel’s Fa-La-La-Lidays Christmas Specials: Ross Lynch and Laura Marano Sing on ‘Austin and Ally,’ Dove Cameron Performs In ‘Liv and Maddie’ New Episode

Tis the season for Disney stars singing on Disney’s Fa-La-La-Lidays. Catch the debut of two brand new holiday-themed episodes of Austin and Ally and Liv and Maddie this Sunday. This weekend, you can rock around the Christmas tree with Ross Lynch and Laura Marano or sing carols with Dove Cameron in two all new Christmas specials.

The night begins with a brand new episodes of Liv and Maddie, starting at 8 p.m. The Chirstmas-themed special, titled “Fa La La La-A-Rooney,” finds Dove Cameron’s Liv in the middle of a heated holiday singing competition with a little girl.

Cameron pulls double duty as both Liv and Maddie in the new hit song. Dove spoke with BOP & Tiger Beat earlier in the year about what it is like to play dual roles:

“A lot of what you will see on Liv and Maddie is organic and spontaneous. I love that we have room for creativity and input. You would think the hardest aspect of playing two polar opposite people would be the constant switching back and forth while keeping in character. Surprisingly, that’s been the easiest part!”

The episode will be followed by an all new Austin and Ally. In the special, Ross Lynch and Laura Marano share the stage with the duet, “I Love Christmas.” The official synopsis for the episode titled, "Mix-Ups & Mistletoes” reads:

“Trish is organizing a Club For Kids at Christmas in Austin and Ally will perform their original Christmas song and distribute Dolls Austin Moon, but a mess in the toy factory makes Austin dolls stay with the voice of Ally, and she and Trish should prevent Austin start distributing the dolls. Meanwhile, Trish puts Dez and his arch-nemesis, Chuck, via a competition to determine who will be a better Santa Claus for Christmas. Songs Featured: ‘I Love Christmas’”
