Tony-, Grammy-, and Emmy-winning artist Ben Platt is set to play an exclusive, 18-performance concert residency in Broadway's newly refurbished and historic Palace Theatre across three weeks, from May 28 to June 15.
A Historic Residency for Both Ben Platt and the Palace Theatre
Platt is the first announced tenant for the famed venue, which closed for renovations and an expansion into a new retail space in the lower levels starting in 2018, and also marks the first time the theatre's new look is shared with the public.

Additionally, the set of performances is also in commemoration of Platt's to-be-released third album, "Honeymind," and coincidentally, songs off of this forthcoming record and other selections from his "Reverie," "Sing to Me Instead," and other projects will be featured during his residency.
The first single from "Honeymind," entitled "Andrew," is now available to watch as a music video by clicking here.
Platt will also be reunited with Tony-winning director Michael Arden in the performances, someone whom he worked with in his Tony-nominated stint as Leo Frank in the Broadway revival of "Parade."
"It is far beyond my wildest imagination to play a residency of my own music in a house as storied as the Palace," Platt said in a press release. "I feel blessed to be part of the theater community, and to have the opportunity to perform as myself and from my own perspective on a Broadway stage is one of the greatest honors of my life."
"I can't wait to introduce my new record on the beautifully revived stage," the original Evan Hansen actor continued. "My hope is to bridge my musical theater roots that I hold so dear with the world of classic Americana songwriting that I've fallen so deeply in love with."
"I mean, Liza! Judy! 'Dreams come true' doesn't even begin to cover it!"
