In the past few years, legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli has been gracing the stage with the presence of his musically talented children during concerts and even in studio sessions, as Matteo and Virginia were featured in their first family Christmas album in 2022.
Last Friday, Feb. 23, the now 11-year-old Virginia returned to the spotlight alongside her 65-year-old father to sing their heartfelt duet single, "Dare to Be," which is featured in the upcoming American biopic film, "Cabrini."

In the music video, the father-daughter duo can be seen sitting on an armchair, while their arms are linked warmingly, seamlessly transitioning between each of their parts.
The song itself, which features both Italian and English lyrics, is an echo of the movie's titular subject and namesake, Francesca Cabrini, who fought and hoped for the sake of others, choosing to shine brightly despite the darkness that surrounds her.
The Alejandro Monteverde-directed film, which also sees young Virginia in a small debut role, is largely about the Italian-born American immigrant and Catholic missionary, Cabrini, and her endeavors to help fellow disenfranchised foreigners achieve equality in health and happiness during the 19th century.
Serving as an original end credits song for the full-length film produced by Angel Studios, "Dare to Be" was composed by Andrea Bocelli, Gene Back, Giovanni Caccomo, and Courtney Rodriguez.
Ryan Svendsen, Head of Music for the production studios, said in a statement: "'Dare To Be' captures the spirit of Francesca Cabrini, who spent her life bringing light and hope to those who were living on the margins."
"We are honored to have the musicality of Andrea Bocelli and Virginia Bocelli whose stunning vocals in this beautifully crafted duet amplify the embodiment of Cabrini's essence within this incredible film," he continued.
