A Tiktok video of a cat flexing his "jazzy" licks and piano "chops" went viral, accumulating over 1.4 million likes and 7.9 million views since it was first posted last Dec. 28.
One Talented Cat Playing the Piano
These talented mittens belong to Goose, who tickled the ivories masterfully while his owner was looking away. Once Rebecca, the poster, noticed the symphony flowing from Goose's impromptu recital, she had no choice but to record.
Without a care in the world and while his tail was wagging, something akin to the "stanky" leg of seasoned jazz guitarists, the cat performed a "nasty" triplet run as if the spirit of legendary blues pianist Otis Spann had taken over.
Toward the latter part of his playing, Goose ditched the bluesy motif and ended his original composition with a four-legged descent to the lower octaves. My... what a performance!

Sufficed to say, people liked the cat's performance, with one commenter writing: "The ending was so powerful," while another wrote: "I need an album release thank you."
Even Rebecca herself was amazed by her fur-baby's virtuosity, writing in the video's caption: "My son, Goose. A child prodigy." One user agreed, saying, "I feel like I'm at a jazz club, definitely a prodigy."
However, this was not Goose's first foray into musical artistry, as Rebecca previously posted an adorable duet between them, with the cat supplying the bass notes to the owner's high-note triads.
