Chris Pratt is about to return to his hit TV show, Parks and Recreation, a changed man. Pratt shed a lot of weight for his role in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. He even released a shirtless photo, where he looks like a stripper.
Chris Pratt recently spoke with Zap2it about Andy's upcoming return to Pawnee.
"He's been dealing with a little jet lag, which is pretty funny.I came back on a Tuesday at midnight and went back to work at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, so I was like zero rest, and [the writers] knew that, and they said, 'What's the easiest thing we can do for Chris?' and they're like, 'I know! Because Andy has been in London working just like Chris was in London working,' they said, 'Maybe we just give him serious jet lag so he can like lay his head on the desk and sleep.' And so the first episode coming back is just Andy having to deal with a whole bunch of jet lag and being tired."
Vulture made a visit to set of P & R at the beginning of the season where they talked with some of Pratt's co-stars. Nick Offerman, who plays Ron Swanson, told the publication about his and Pratt's gross ritual:
“I just sent him an e-mail. Chris and I often take pictures of our poop and send it to each other...This is not a joke.We do it when it’s impressive. I just made a huge letter C. Sent it to Pratt. I miss him so much...I mean, this is the greatest place in the world. Working here is the most delicious security blanket combined with an ice-cream cone, but without Pratt there’s like a little bit of cumulonimbus cloud blocking the sun.”
Aubrey Plaza, who plays Pratt's wife, April Ludgate, added:
“We’re filming episode six or seven already and he hasn’t been here. He’s been gone and it sucks. Everyone misses him. He’s like this beacon of happiness whenever he’s around.” She hasn’t been coping well I'm trying to fill his shoes, but it’s really hard because I usually have a really bad attitude.”
The air date for Andy's return has not been announced.
