A pregnant Kelly Clarkson recently talked about her holiday album, Wrapped in Red. The singer also opened up about her new baby bump, guessed as to the gender, picked out a name and revealed that she suffers from morning sickness.
Clarkson once again made headlines when she appeared on Today Show. During an interview with host Savannah Guthrie, the starlet admitted that she suffered from terrible morning sickness. When asked if she was feeling ok, Kelly responded:
"Nope. I don't know why they call it morning sickness. That's my big joke right now because it's all day and all night. I am super-excited about being pregnant, though. I'm just looking forward to the second trimester...they say it's better."
Kelly also took a guess at the gender. The pop star feels like she is having a girl, based on science (um?):
"No, I'm way too early. I'm way too early to know. Scientifically, I guess they say--this is going to be too much information--they say if it's later after you ovulate I guess girl sperm lasts longer than boy sperm--I don't know if that's true, my doctor told me that--and I guess mine was late. So there is a scientific reason why I think I'm having a girl."
Of course, even before she announced that she was pregnant, Clarkson was wishing for a girl. In a recent interview with Parade, the American Idol winner revealed:
“My eggs aren’t getting any younger, so we’ve already started trying. I’m totally gonna have a girl. I’m manifesting it! And when I have a girl, you’re gonna be like, ‘That chick knew it!’”
Clarkson is someone who likes to plan ahead. In fact, she already has a named picked out, but she’s not saying what it is:
"We're not saying because I don't want someone stealing my baby name and I'm so early. We named our kid before we were even pregnant."
What do you think about Clarkson’s latest statements? Is she really going to manifest herself a daughter? What should she name her upcoming bundle of joy?
