Recently, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian put out a campy video for West’s new track,“Bound 2.” The super cheesy video was ripe for parody, and that is just what James Franco and Seth Rogen did, when they filmed a shot-for-shot remake called “Bound 3.” In the parody, Rogen fills in for Kim and Franco plays West. Now it seems that Zac Efron has jumped on the motorcycle for “Bound 4.”
Bound 3 begins with one simple introduction:
"While on the set of their movie,The Interview, James Franco & Seth Rogen felt inspired to recreate their favorite new video. Shot. For. Shot."
After the parody video went viral, Kim Kardashian tweeted Seth Rogen:
“You nailed it!!! Sooo funny! RT @Sethrogen: #Bound3 https://youtube.com/watch?v=Y3TTiHRrEBE …. Enjoy!!!!!!”
The two then exchanged replies,writing:
"@KimKardashian thanks! Some of those positions were really uncomfortable. That s**t is harder than it looks."
“@Sethrogen Kanye says what's up! He loves u guys! He laughed so hard at this.”
An unnamed source spoke with HollywoodLife about Kanye keeping his cool after the parody came out:
“He realizes that not only are people talking about it, they’re imitating him and Kim--and imitation is the highest form of flattery and respect. He’s getting to a point now where he expects this type of sh*t to happen. He knows it’s coming. When it stops, that’s when the problems and the influence ceases to exist. He’s come into the mindset where [he] welcomes all the critics and criticism and all the nonsense.”
After all, it was only a matter of time before someone made fun of the video, as Kanye told Power 105's Breakfast Club in New York:
"I wanted it to look as phony as possible. I wanted the clouds to go in one direction, the mountains to go in another direction. I wanted the horses to go over there, because I wanted to show you that this is The Hunger Games. I want to show you that this is the type of imagery that's being presented to all of us. And the only difference is a black dude in the middle of it...The thing is, I don't have a problem with looking stupid."
Now it seems that Rogan’s Neighbors co-star, Zac Efron, is also getting in on the fun. The actor posted shirtless photos from the Neighbors set with the caption #Bound 4 along with the message:
"Whether you're a #KanyeWest fan or not, fans are #Bound2 get a kick out of this new still from #ZacEfron and #SethRogen's film #NeighborsMovie Check out all the neighborly shenanigans when the comedy hits theaters next May! #uhhuhhoney"
