Earlier in the month, Chris Brown was reportedly kicked out of rehab for throwing a rock through his mother's car window. Now the rapper has been ordered back to treatment, forcing him to miss both his recent court date and the release of his new album X. Now Breezy is expected back in court on January 8 to face assault charges.
Following his most recent assault arrest, Chris Brown checked himself into rehab for anger management. At the time, a representative for Brown released a statement:
"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility. His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."
However, it wasn't long before Brown's anger got the better of him, and he was kicked out of rehab. The official documents claim:
"Mr. Brown proceeded to walk outside and pick up a rock and threw it through his mother's car window and it shattered."
Brown was subsequently ordered back to a different treatment facility. Brown's current stay in rehab means that he will miss the release of his new album X on Dec 3. Brown also missed his court date on Monday, which has been postponed until January 8. A plea is expected in that case as Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicholas Cannon told the court:
"I expect a plea offer to be given to the defense in a couple of days."
However, Brown is not free and clear just yet. He still has to attend a parole violation hearing, stemming from his 2009 assault on Rihanna. If found in violation, Brown could face four years behind bars. The probation report reads in part:
"There is much concern with the probationer's new arrest and his violent outburst that resulted in his discharge from a treatment facility.’’
