Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak gave birth to twin babies on Monday. At long last, the babies' names and genders have been revealed. Thankfully, the twins were perfectly healthy, despite Kim's smoking while pregnant scandal.
Kim Zolciak and her husband, Kroy Biermann, welcomed twins into the world on Monday. The two children, a boy and a girl, make a grand total of six kids for the couple. Shortly after the birth, the proud mother tweeted:
"We are officially the 'Biermann Bunch' now!...Guess what?!!! The TWINS have arrived! We welcomed first a baby GIRL and second a handsome little BOY. They are both healthy, and Kroy and I are so thankful!!"
She later revealed the twins names in a picture message via Instagram:
“The twins names are: Girl: Kaia Rose (After 'Psychic' Rose who is like a grandma to me and been a huge part of my life for 13 plus yrs) Also the twins were born on the Rose's birthday! Boy: Kane Ren (Ren After my OBGYN who has delivered 5 of the 6 kiddos, who has also been a big part of my life for 12 yrs and we simply adore him)."
Last week, the Biermann family celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday early in anticipation of the birth. The happy couple also recently celebrated their one year anniversary . Zolciak blogged about the past year on her website:
"Can you believe that it is already November 1st! 2013 has been such a crazy year and I can't believe it is almost over...We all are getting more and more excited for our two little bundle of joys to get here! Very very soon! Let me tell you carrying twins is no joke and far different than carrying a singleton! We do have names ready but we will decide when we see them. I can't wait to find out the gender and I'm really glad we waited to find out! What a wonderful surprise this is going to be."
Congratulations to the Biermann bunch. They have an awful lot to be thankful for.
