Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. directly ties the MCU to the small screen. With DC's Arrow about to introduce The Flash, many fans are wondering if the series will crossover with Batman Vs Superman. Could Stephen Amell hold his own against The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel?
The Arrowverse is growing with the addition of Barry Allen, a.k.a The Flash. Arrow producer Greg Berlanti recently spoke with Fandango about the possibilities of crossing over with the DC movie universe:
"We haven’t had any of those conversations other than to say, what characters are we allowed to use this year and advocate or request certain ones that are of interest to us. And every now and then, they’ll say, ‘You can’t have that guy.’ They don’t say why, and we figure out why later on."
The Green Arrow, himself (Stephen Amell), spoke with Digital Spy, where he teased the idea of joining the Justice League:
"I'd sweep their floors. Any opportunity to be a part of the Justice League movie as Green Arrow or otherwise, it would be really exciting, but it doesn't have to be a movie. We are doing a--we're working in concert with DC and the better we do, the more successful our show is, the more opportunities we're going to get to perhaps have members of the Justice League on our show."
Meanwhile, TVD's Steven McQueen teased that Nightwing might make his way to Starling City when tweeted:
“Nightwing training @ARROWwriters @GBerlanti @KyleDHiggins @RapaportCasting.”
McQueen also tweeted:
“Had some superhero conversations with the executives this weekend @ARROWwriters.”
Nightwing has also recently been rumored to appear in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel, Batman vs Superman. BVS producer Daniel Alter tweeted a possible plot spoiler for the film:
“Can't wait for #BatmanvsSuperman.. #batfleck semi-retired/not speaking to Robin anymore.. Controlling drones from the batcave.”
