It now seems that a divorce between Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian is all but certain. This is especially true following the release of a video that shows Lamar rapping about cheating on Khloe and drug use. These latest claims come after Khloe’s mom, Kris Jenner, announced that she was breaking up with her husband, Bruce.
2013 has not been a kind year for the Kardashian and Jenner clan. Nowhere is that more true than in the tumultuous relationship of Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian. Nearly every week, stories emerge about the embattled couple.
Up until now, however, they have amounted to little more than rumors and speculation. That all changed when TMZ recently published a video of a shirtless Lamar Odom rapping.
Not only did Lamar admit to using drugs, he also talked about cheating on Khloe when she is out of town. The troubled NBA player told the camera:
“And when Khloe’s out of town / I still be on the DL. / You know what it is / We the QU [Queens] pimps / Ask any of these shorties / We ran through their cribs.”
Yikes. This is especially disheartening considering recent reports claimed that the couple was getting back together. Photos even emerged of the two attending a Kanye West concert.
As recent as last week, OK! published a story that asserted Khloe was willing to forgive Lamar if he maintained his sobriety. According to an insider who spoke with the tabloid, Khloe was hopeful but skeptical:
“At this point, it’s all very conditional--he isn’t moving back in until he has proven that he can stay sober for at least three months. But Khloe is very hopeful that he’ll be able to do it and they’ll be back together again.”
The same insider claimed that Khloe’s family rallied around the professional basketball player:
“Her whole family still loves Lamar; they see his addiction as a disease and are all rooting for him. They are so proud that he’s got three weeks sober, and wanted to show him that he’s still one of them.”
Of course, this report did come in advance of Lamar’s rapping debut.
