According to reports, Brooke Hogan recently went through a 2013 breakup with fiance Phil Costa. It wasn’t that long ago that the couple first announced their engagement, leading many to wonder whether she will return the ring. TMZ was among the first to break the news. According to the gossip site, Brooke has already left her ex-fiance:
“Sources close to Brooke tell us Hulk's daughter ended her engagement to Dallas Cowboys center Phil Costa a few weeks ago...after he proposed in Vegas back in June. We're told Brooke realized things had moved way too fast, too soon...so she decided to call it quits and focus on her music--before making things official forever. Our sources say Hogan recently moved back to L.A. to put the finishing touches on her new album...and she wanted to be closer to Momma Hogan.”
This caught many by surprise, considering the daughter of legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan was just proposed to on June 29. NFL player Phil Costa got on one knee and asked for the starlet’s hand in marriage.
At the time, Brooke said yes, even posting a photo of Phil popping the question on Instagram. The message she attached was one of hope and delight:
“Happiest moment of my LIFE. I am marrying my best friend. I wouldn’t choose anyone else. I am so lucky and so grateful.”
