Rumors are flying that Jessica Simpson may be getting cold feet and may cancel her wedding. One disreputable tabloid, however, is claiming that she will have the ceremony but will be banning her allegedly gay father, Joe.
The National Enquirer is back at it. The completely unbelievable gossip rag may have sunk to a new low, when they claimed that Jessica will be banning her own father from the ceremony. According to a “source” who spoke with the tabloid:
“Jessica’s relationship with her father has deteriorated so much she doesn’t want him at her wedding. She’s afraid he’ll make a spectacle of himself, or worse yet, start something with Tina. Jessica still loves Joe, but she wants the day to be about her and Eric, not some sideshow with her dad.”
The gossip rag also “informed” readers that Joe was aware of his ban. According to a second source:
“Joe was devastated. But his relationship with Jess is hanging by a thread, and he doesn’t want to rock the boat any further. So he’s not making a big deal about it.”
Of course, the Examiner’s not the only one dishing on Jessica. Star also took a few jabs at her man Eric Johnson. According to a source, Jessica has grown bored with her fiance:
“Jessica is bored. Eric is a very nice guy, but he’s far from accomplished and even farther from exciting. Eric was her rebound from Tony Romo. She probably wouldn’t have stayed with Eric if she hadn’t gotten pregnant.”
