Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid scored points with the public as they showed just what great people they are by helping a fan up when she fell down in front of the former One Direction star and the Victoria's Secret model at his March 25 album launch party.
While Malik and Hadid headed through the mob of fans waiting outside, one unlucky fan tripped right in front of the couple. The fan was just one of many waiting to catch a glimpse of Zayn as he headed to the launch of his new album, Mind of Mine, in New York City.
The 23-year-old singer and his model girlfriend immediately jumped to the fan’s rescue, picking her up from the ground and making sure she was fine. “Zayn Malik just lifted me up off the floor and made sure I was okay,” the fan wrote on her Twitter in all caps. “The fans pushed me and he picked me up with Gigi and made sure I was okay!”
Photographers and fans were able to catch Malik saving the girl from a pretty nasty tumble that could have led to her being crushed. Videos and photos have since emerged of the incident and it showed a chaotic situation as the huge crowd was trying to catch a glimpse of their idols.
The young girl then detailed the experience in a series of tweets. She said that Zayn “literally wrapped his arm around me and pulled me up.”
It all went down after the pop star celebrated the release of his debut album, Mind of Mine, with a live album release party on the Honda Stage at the iHeart Radio Theater in NYC. Malik performed "Pillowtalk," "Like I Would" and "It's You."
