The Phantom of The Opera is one of the most iconic musicals of all time. The current Broadway production at the Majestic Theater will be replacing a few cast members on Monday, April 4. Rebecca Eichenberger and John Easterlin are on their way in, while Linda Balgord and Christian Sebek are departing the show. Check the report below for more details on the cast replacements.
Theatermania recently reported on some of the cast changes coming to Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.
Rebecca Eichenberger will be returning to the role of Carlotta the diva. Eichenberger played the role from 2001-03 for over 700 shows. Eichenberger will be replacing Linda Balgord who has been playing Carlotta for the past three years.
John Easterlin will also be joining the cast of the show. Easterlin, as multiple Grammy Award winner, will be playing Ubaldo Piangi. Easterlin will be replacing Christian Sebek.
Sebek has been with the show since 2011 and has raked in a whopping 1,500 plus performances.
The cast changes for The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, will take place on Monday, April 4 at the Majestic Theatre.
