Iggy Azalea’s fiance, Nick Young, is being investigated for sexually harassing two women. He and his Los Angeles Lakers teammate, Jordan Clarkson, have been accused of making “vulgar, sexual gestures” to a prominent women’s rights advocate and her 68-year-old mother.
According to ESPN, the incident came to light when the woman, Alexis Jones, posted photos of four men in a Jeep who she said harassed her and her mother while they were stopped at a red light. She shared the photos on Instagram and her followers identified two of the men as Clarkson and Young.
Ms. Jones' Instagram account has since been made private and the image in question has apparently been removed.
“She was super rattled. That’s the truth. It scared her,” Alexis told ESPN about her mom's response. “We were in a small car, and they were in a big Jeep, and it was a bunch of big dudes. They’re leaning out of the car and making vulgar, sexual gestures. My mom was really shocked. That immediately turned into sobbing.”
Jones is an author and the co-founder of I AM THAT GIRL. According to their mission statement, I AM THAT GIRL “transforms self-doubt into self-love by providing a safe space to connect and have honest conversations about things that matter.”
A spokesman for the Lakers said that they’re taking the matter “very seriously” and that Lakers head coach Byron Scott was aware of the situation and had talked to both of his players.
Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Young has been accused of something of a sexual nature. Back in 2013, a woman claimed that the NBA star drugged and raped her, but they eventually settled the case out of court.
