Rob Kardashian's famous family was out in force on Saturday night, March 19, two days after his actual birthday as they celebrated his 29th at Nobu in Malibu. Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and their partners Corey Gamble, Scott Disick, Kanye West and Tyga were there too, but Rob's girlfriend Blac Chyna was nowhere in sight.
The Arthur George socks owner has kept his distance from family celebrations in recent years, but it looks like he's finally open to be part of the Kardashian-Jenner clan's shindigs after the family party.
"It really seemed like a fun celebration," an eyewitness shared to PEOPLE. "There was no tension and everyone enjoyed themselves. They all sang Happy Birthday and gave Rob a cake with a picture of his face. Rob looked and seemed very happy."
Khloe Kardashian and Caitlyn Jenner were noticeably absent at the party. The 31-year-old Kocktails with Khloe host tweeted that she was sick.

While pretty much everyone else was at the party, Rob’s girlfriend and Kylie's arch enemy, Blac Chyna, was not. Rob’s family hasn’t exactly been a fan of his romance with the 27-year-old model and Tyga's baby mama, but the controversial couple celebrated his big day earlier in the week with a trip to Legoland.
HollywoodLife got the exclusive scoop on why Chyna wasn’t invited to Rob’s birthday party, and according to them, it was all about not wanting to cause drama: “It was really a family affair for Rob’s birthday get-together dinner, so Blac wasn’t invited. Rob’s also cautious not to have any unnecessary drama affect his romance with Blac. In that kind of setting it wasn’t really appropriate for her to be there.”
