Musician Richard Hall, known by his stage name Moby, and film producer James Newton Howard have set out to remake the soundtrack to the upcoming film "The Bourne Legacy".
Moby's song "Extreme Ways" has been the soundtrack of the Bourne film series from its first version in 2002. But with the film "The Bourne Legacy" coming out on August 10, he has reshaped the song from a symphonic perspective with a huge orchestra.
"I wanted to create a juxtaposition with the orchestra and let the orchestra be more melodic and bombastic to contrast with the sort of frenetic rhythmic elements," Moby says.
"Having the best classical musicians on the planet playing the music I've written is really wonderful," Moby added.
The Bourne films - "The Bourne Identity" (2002), "The Bourne Supremacy" (2004), "The Bourne Ultimatum" (2007) - are a series of thriller spy films based on the character named Jason Bourne, a former CIA assassin suffering from serious injuries.
The fourth film"The Bourne Legacy" (2012) features a new character played by Jeremy Renner.
American musician, DJ, and photographer Moby is well known for his sample-based electronic music.
