Rumors are flying that Kelly Clarkson may be pregnant. After a lovely wedding to Brandon Blackstock, the singer went on Jay Leno and hinted that she may be hiding her very own baby bump. The latest revelations come after multiple reports that Clarkson is feuding with Brandon’s stepmom, Reba McEntire.
As if there aren’t enough rumors circulating that Kelly Clarkson is pregnant, the singer added more fuel to the fire when she appeared on Jay Leno’s late night show. First, she talked about how great it was to help raise Brandon’s two children:
“We have two kids. And they’re so great. And I never wanted kids before, but now I want, like, five."
This, however, wasn’t the line that got everyone talking. After all, Kelly has talked about wanting to be a mom for quite some time now.
Instead, it was her response to being asked if she was pregnant, that many feel prove she is expecting:
“We are not announcing anything right now!"
Many found her outwardly vague statement to suggest that she is having a baby. Otherwise, she would have likely answered, “no.”
Of course, her statements on the program seemed inline with what the tabloids are printing this week. OK! recently spoke with a source, who revealed:
“She wants a baby immediately. She loves everything about [the idea of] being a mom. Brandon warned her about the sleepless nights, but she doesn’t care. She loves everything about kids and babies. She doesn’t find anything gross, so changing diapers and all that doesn’t faze her.”
Though, Clarkson certainly is prone to be overwhelmed. At one point, the singer actually canceled her wedding plans with Brandon and discussed eloping. She spoke exclusively to People, when she revealed:
"We just got so overwhelmed by it--all the decisions. I have a Christmas record coming out. I'm doing a bunch of stuff with State Farm right now. We have two kids who just started school. We're going to all these football games and soccer games and volleyball games and [Brandon]'s got one of the biggest artists [Blake Shelton] in country music. He's flying everywhere."
