Charlie Puth Disses Justin Bieber, Aplogizes and Deletes Apology: What Will the Biebs Do?

Charlie Puth is in hot water after he made a brutal comment about pop superstar Justin Bieber during his March 11 concert in Texas. Since then, he has apologized to the "What Do You Mean" singer and then removed the apology tweets, leaving fans to wonder if Bieber is going to retaliate or let sleeping dogs lie.

While singing “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” a song Puth recorded with Bieber's ex, Selena Gomez, the 24-year-old "One Call Away" singer yelled "F*** you, Justin Bieber!" in the middle of his performance.

Following the incident, Puth wrote on Twitter that he had meant the comments jokingly. He said, "Hey everyone. I feel like I need to clear something up. What I said at the concert last night about Justin was meant to be a joke." He then shared that he's a "massive" fan of Bieber. However, Puth later deleted the apology with no explanation as to why.

Naturally, this has all left fans of the 22-year-old "Love Yourself" hitmaker wondering if he is going to snap back at Puth. One report by HollywoodLife says no -- sharing that Bieber doesn't appear to be in the mood for a feud according to an exclusive source.

“Justin thinks what Charlie said was a douchey move, but he is refraining from sending shade back at Charlie because it’s a bit of a ‘Charlie Who?’ situation,” a source told the site. “And also add to that, he has respect for Wiz Khalifa. Wiz and Charlie have the monster hit, ‘See You Again’ and Justin feels that if he bashes Charlie that will affect future single sales."

Bieber is clearly thinking this one through, proving that he is not that kid anymore -- you know -- the one who had plenty of troubles during his early years in the business. He is now apparently thinking about the reflection of his actions to his career and not ruin his relationship with his fellow recording artists.

“Wiz would be involved in some collateral damage,” the source noted. “Justin doesn’t want to be the reason for Wiz having less money in his wallet, which he knows he would be able to do if he responded to Charlie‘s diss and attacked him. Justin is convinced he could derail Charlie‘s career in just one tweet.”

A HollywoodLife source previously revealed that his sudden diss may have something to do with his closeness with Gomez. He was apparently upset that Bieber broke her heart and he knew that he would eventually address his frustrations.

"The diss was going to be said eventually, Charlie knew he was going to say it at some point because Selena’s emotions really spoke to him," the source said. "He doesn’t like Justin and he certainly doesn’t like the games he played with Selena."

Bieber hasn't posted anything regarding Puth on his social media accounts, nor has he personally made any statements as to what he plans to do (or not do) about Puth's outburst. Perhaps that silence in itself says it all!

What do you Beliebers think? Should the super-star defend his name or not even dignify Puth's shooting off his mouth moment with a comment? Sound off in the comments section below!
