Celebrated Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli recently announced a run of performances in the U.S. later this year. The upcoming concert dates come on the heels of the singer's 2015 album, Cinema, a collection of classic movie soundtrack and film score interpretations.
The newly added tour dates will be sure to please Bocelli fans across the nation in 2016. The famed vocalist will be traversing the globe this year, entertaining listeners worldwide with renditions from the aforementioned Cinema LP along with other selections from his catalog.
Having previously announced concerts this year in Seattle, southern California and the midwest, the just-announced U.S. leg will cover multiple stops in the States this December:
"The short tour will kick off [at] MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, December 3, with additional dates in Dallas, Houston, New York City, New Jersey and Bocelli's first appearance in Boston in more than six years."

In fact, his most recent album is only one facet of the singer's repertoire. The acclaimed artist never seems to settle for merely rehashing old standards. As reported by Gulf News, Bocelli had been considering the content of Cinema for the majority of his career:
"With the album Cinema, I'm fulfilling a wish that I've harbored for decades. I've never made a secret of my dream of bringing to life a recording project associated with soundtracks, as I truly believe that it's an exceptional artistic treasure trove."
