According to website PakistanHeadlines, this is what Priyanka had to say about her relationships with her female costars. "I never get affected by success or failure of anyone else. I believe that an actor is chosen on his or her merit. I I have always tried to compete with myself and have looked for bigger opportunites. Maybe, if my career wasn't great, I would have been insecure... Women get reduced to catfights. Look at today's girls; they are so confident. When two actors are close to each other, people call it a bromance. But that's never the case with actresses, as we are only associated with catfights. I have shared good ralationships with all my female costars. i believe they are all very secure and confident about their position in the industry ."
Priyanka Chopra's most prominent female costar was Bajirao Mastani's Deepika Padukone. They have gotten along really well from the very beginning. From the Indian Express, we find this quote, '"Priyanka was the first film person I met when I came here,"' revealed Deepika and added, '"She was a huge star. I had just joined. She was the first friend I made. We were so comfortable shooting for Pinga song that it troubled a few people because it went against what a lot of people thought it would be. People expected it there would be a lot of tension regarding what she wearing and what I am wearing. It was completely different. Sanjay Leela Bhansali would jokingly say why can't you fight."'
