If you’re a fan of the tabloids, you may be wondering if Angelina Jolie is dying. Not only are the gossip rags claiming that the actress is too thin, but they’re also predicting that her wedding to Brad Pitt has been canceled. Is there any truth to these rumors or are they just more tabloid lies?
Fortunately, the rumors are totally FALSE. OK! Magazine, a major U.S. tabloid, chose to focus on Angelina Jolie this week.
According to a source who spoke to the tabloid, Angelina has grown dangerously thin. The insider alleges that Jolie has refused to follow the orders of her doctor:
“With everything she’s put her body through--the surgery and the stress of directing Unbroken--she’s defying her doctor’s orders and putting her life in danger by not sleeping or eating. She’s exhausted and starving herself is only going to make things worse.”
The insider further alleges that Brad is frustrated with Angelina and wishes that his wife-to-be would take her health more seriously:
“Brad’s told her she’s way too thin right now. It’s really driving him crazy. He’s been telling her for years to stop starving herself, but she just doesn’t listen. It’s nothing short of tragic that she doesn’t take care of her health.”
Reports that she and Brad Pitt have called off their wedding is also false. Of course, this isn’t the first time that a publication got wedding details wrong.
Even Marie Claire UK got into the guessing game. They informed readers that Jolie was considering a summer wedding that would take place on a boat. According to their source:
“It was Maddox who came up with the idea of the ship. He came across it after looking back at photos of the Carnell Estate in Ayrshire, where they stayed and all loved. So now they’ve made enquiries into booking the whole vessel. It’s just what they’re after. It can hold up to 50 of their friends and family and serve as a traditional, romantic setting--all totally private. Or they could always sail to a secluded bay off the Orkney or Shetland islands and have the ceremony there. The kids are all hooked on old British voyages, so they would love it. The fact that Maddox found it makes it more special.”
