Gwyneth Paltrow has been plagued with cheating and divorce rumors since Vanity Fair reported they are going to publish an expose about the actress. The 41-year-old mother of two is also under fire for cutting off a school bus with her daughter, Apple, on the back of her Vespa. According to reports, the scooters have been banned following the near death accident.
Gwyneth Paltrow is facing some serious allegations that she cheated on husband Chris Martin with billionaire Jeff Soffer. The rumors have sparked an all out war between Paltrow and Vanity Fair. A rep for Paltrow has released a statement to E! News, denouncing the rumors:
"This supposed feud is blown complete out of proportion. The V.F. story that they wrote and may or may not run is not a takedown at all. Gwyneth did not participate because we were not promoting anything for the month they wanted to run the story, which was October. She never asked anyone to boycott the [Vanity Fair Oscar] party, she just asked her friends not to give quotes about her."
However, Paltrow recently spoke with Glamour about the struggles that her marriage has faced:
"It’s hard being married. You go through great times, you go through terrible times. We’re the same as any couple. I asked my dad once, 'How did you and Mum stay married for 33 years?' And he said, 'Well, we never wanted to get divorced at the same time'. And I think that’s what happens. When two people throw in the towel at the same time, then you break up, but if one person’s saying, 'come on, we can do this', you carry on."
She did have few good words about her husband during the interview, adding:
"We laugh, we’re good friends, we like to do the same stuff. I’m a very grounded, homey person and Chris is a very mad scientist, genius songwriter. So I never say, 'Where are you? You should be home by now.' I never place demands on him because I think he’s a really talented man and he’s putting something good into the world."
Back in September, Paltrow was involved in a close call, when she pulled out infront of a school bus with her daughter on the back of a Vespa. Thankfully no one was hurt, however, the school has reportedly banned the use of Vespas for child pickup.
