Is Jennette McCurdy dating Matt Bennett? The two young Nick stars were partying together at Bennett's 22nd birthday bash. McCurdy and Bennett will also be sharing the screen together in the upcoming iCarly, Victorious reunion episode of Sam and Cat.
Jennette McCurdy dating rumors have been popping up like crazy after the starlet recently ended her brief relationship with Andre Drummond. McCurdy has been teasing a new relationship on Twitter and some are starting to wonder if Victorious star Matt Bennett might be her secret beau.
McCurdy recently attended Bennett’s 22nd birthday party, afterwards, she praised the actor on Twitter:
“Enjoyed celebrating @bonnott’s 22nd birthday last night! He’s one of the smartest, strangest, cleverest, most forward thinking people I know, and I love him for it!”
The two stars will appear together in the upcoming Sam and Cat, iCarly/Victorious reunion special. McCurdy announced the crossover episode last month when she posted a Vine titled, "Guess who's guest starring on this Sam & Cat special!!" The short video features McCurdy comically mixing up Liz Gillies and Nathan Kress. McCurdy also took a stab at Bennett, calling him Andy Samberg--a joke-comparison that was often used on Victorious.
J-14 has posted a plot summary for the episode, reading:
"When Sam meets Cat's friend Jade from Hollywood Arts, Sam and Jade become friends, leaving Cat feeling a little left out. Taking some questionable advice from Nona, Cat decides to retaliate by 'stealing' a friend of Sam's--and it's Freddie Benson! As Cat tries to get cozy with Freddie, Sam finds out and goes after a friend of Cat's--Robbie Shapiro! The jealousy comes to a crashing climax at Fisherman's Wharf, where Dice has hired Sam to jump her motorcycle over a tank full of vicious man-biting tuna."
