Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's relationship is getting sweeter and sweeter by the minute. Not only has the No Doubt singer fallen madly in love with the country crooner, but even her children, 9-year-old Kingston, 7-year-old Zuma and 1-year-old Apollo have marked him with a cute nickname.
“Gwen introduced Blake to the kids by his first name, they know him as Blake,” shares the source of HollywoodLife exclusively. “Apollo can’t pronounce the L properly so he started calling him Bwake and now the other two boys call him that too.”
It turns out that Stefani is in healthy competition when it comes to the 39-year-old country superstar's time. The source also shared that he enjoys being with the boys and they surprisingly have so much in common, which is probably the reason why he seemingly fits right into their family.
“Blake is amazing with them," the source continued. "He’s such a big kid himself he loves doing all the same things as they do.”
The 46-year-old rockstar's ex-husband Gavin Rossdale has nothing to worry about because Shelton seems to provide a wonderful stepdad for the kids. Not only is he a good partner for Stefani, but he is also a good friend to the three children.
“One of his favorite things to do with the kids is go on hikes, they love Malibu Creek,” the source added. “They get out there in the mud hunting for frogs or playing hide and seek. Blake loves any excuse to get outside and get dirty so he’s a big hit with Gwen’s kids.”
So does this mean that they're going to have another kid soon? HollywoodLife previously reported that although the couple is not planning to have a baby together just yet, if ever there were a surprise on the way they would definitely accept it openly.
After separating from their ex-partners, Shelton and Stefani helped each other to ease the pain of their break-ups and ended up finding love along the process of healing.
