Just like his former bandmate Zayn Malik, Harry Styles is moving on with his career as a solo artist.
After being with One Direction and his pals Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, he is now ready to conquer the music scene with his own kind of songs which has an edgy rock and roll vibe to it.
“Harry has been very busy putting the finishing touches to his solo career, recording new material in London and just trying out new things," the source told HollywoodLife exclusively. "It’s a new chapter in his life, and he wants to make sure that everything is right as he makes his next step."
The 22-year-old rumored fling of Kendall Jenner is surely aware that once you go solo there is a new set of crowd that you have to please. It is definitely hard to make a name for yourself when it was attached to a group for so long.
But Styles is not going to take that pressure negatively; he is hoping to do well as an individual just like Robbie Williams did, who became very successful even after he departed from '90s English pop group Take That.
"Harry is looking at Robbie Williams, and how he achieved success outside of Take That," the source continued. "He’s working with the best songwriters and producers, aiming for a more rockier sound that’ll be a lot different than what fans expect.”
One Direction broke fans' hearts when they announced their hiatus back in August. Some of the band members reassured the Directioners that this will not be permanent -- they are just going to do their own thing for a while and then eventually get back together as a group once again.
"They are taking a hiatus so they can work on individual projects for a while but they are not splitting up," a source shared to E! News. "They will remain together and plan to work together in the future."
