Divorce rumors continue to fly about a possible 2013 break up for Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. According to a new report, Miranda’s recent weight loss is a result of the country star being jealous of Christina Aguilera. These latest claims come after months of speculation that Blake has been cheating on his wife.
A “source” who recently spoke to Star, revealed the reason behind Miranda’s recent weight loss:
“Miranda felt like she didn’t look good enough for Blake and wanted to become as hot as possible so he wouldn’t be tempted to cheat... Miranda is very insecure of Blake’s friendship with Christina on The Voice, so that helped motivate her to get thin. Her ultimate goal is to look better than Christina."
Of course, Blake and Miranda probably find this article to be humorous. Last month, Shelton laughed at all of the speculation, when he mocked the stories on Twitter:
“I just read back to back NEW stories that @mirandalambert and I are having a baby, divorcing, cheating and feuding with @cher. Must be true!”
He also took a jab at the fact that we have a serious health care problem in America, writing:
“If it costs 40 million dollars to get a divorce then how will we ever afford it?!!! We had that money set aside for health care!!!”
Star is, after all, the same publication that claimed Blake caught Miranda engaged in a romantic relationship with fellow country singer and friend, Jamey Johnson. According to another unnamed insider:
“Blake feels like an idiot. He’s furious at Miranda for not being honest about the affair. And he never thought Jamey would stab him in the back like that.”
According to the source, it was Jamey’s crew who discovered the alleged affair:
“They thought he was just there taking a break. But when they walked to the back of the bus and opened the door to the lounge, they found Miranda on top of Jamey, having sex with him!”
