'Arrow' New Episode 'Keep Your Enemies Closer:' Stephen Amell and Diggle Take on Deadshot and Amanda Waller's Suicide Squad

In tonight's new episode of Arrow, titled "Keep Your Enemies Closer," we finally get to see Diggle get his revenge on Deadshot. Meanwhile, Amanda Waller and her Suicide Squad are joining the cast to take on Stephen Amell's Team Arrow.

Last weeks episode, "League of Assassins," was all about the Black Canary. Tonight's episode, "Keep Your Enemies Closer," focuses on Oliver’s bodyguard, Diggle. Actor David Ramsey recently sat down with MTV News, where he spoke about the physical demands of leading the action show:

"I called up Stephen [Amell] and I asked him how the hell does he do this every day? There was a physical demand that hadn't been there before. As an actor, I loved it. David Ramsey? It took a little getting used to."

The legendary DC comics anti-hero, Amanda "The Wall" Waller, will join the cast in tonight's episode. She will be played by actress Addai-Robinson. Ramsey gave a little insight into the shows newest addition:

"[Addai-Robinson] brings a weight to Amanda Waller, an authority to Amanda Waller that comes from knowing exactly who she is, and what position she holds. This is definitely not the last time you're going to see Amanda. She's going to play a very large part in this season's arc. She's very important to Team Arrow, and where they're going in the future."

In the comics, Waller is the leader of the Suicide Squad, a group of prisoners who take on dangerous missions for the government, in exchange for their freedom. The Squad includes the recently-introduced Bronze Tiger as well as Diggle's arch-enemy, Deadshot. Ramsey spoke about Diggle going head-to-head with Deadshot in tonight's episode:

"The build-up we've had over the past season and even part of this season between Diggle and Deadshot finally gets a pay-off."

Ramsey teased that the fight might end in a death, however, he added that dying doesn't really end anything:

"Even in death, the stories are so strong, they're always taking another turn."

In the comics, Waller posses a super-serum that can bring people back from the dead. Given the show's recent turn towards the supernatural, we might see the dead start to rise.

Diggle got his name from comic writer Andy Diggle, who wrote Green Arrow: Year One. Recently Ramsey's Diggle made his comic-book debut. Ramsey spoke about being immortalized in the DC universe:

"I couldn't even believe it when they told me that was going to happen. You don't go in looking for that, you just try to play the best, be as true to the writing as you can. But the fans demanded this. Just to know that if the character continues 10 years from now, 15 years from now, that character will be some place in the DC Universe. And I'm grateful."
