Looks like those Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas divorce rumors may not be true after all. According to recent reports, the couple have reunited and are living back together again. This latest update comes after Douglas attended the premiere of his new film, Last Vegas.
According to a source who recently spoke with Confidenti@l, Michael received a call from Catherine while he was walking the red carpet. If the insider is right, things are going much better for the couple, as the source revealed:
“She called to wish him good luck and he said, ‘Thanks honey.’ The only reason she wasn’t by his side is because she didn’t want to take attention away from the film. It was Michael’s night. She wanted to say hello and didn’t realize he was on the carpet already.”
This report seems in line with other reports we have seen as of late. Britain’s Daily Mail recently claimed that Douglas has moved back in with Catherine. They even quoted an eyewitness, who revealed:
“People kept asking [Michael] what’s been going on with Catherine. Michael said, ‘We are doing great, she's better than ever,’ and said their kids are doing great.”
This is a welcome turn of events for the couple, who found themselves on the cover of numerous tabloids. Many of the publications claimed that Douglas was cheating on Zeta-Jones.
Michael was also photographed on vacation with a woman who looked like a younger Catherine. As one source informed Star, some even confused the mystery brunette with his estranged wife:
“At first, everyone thought the woman was Catherine, especially with all the attention Michael was lavishing on her. But it wasn’t. Michael and Catherine are living totally separate lives and are powering full steam ahead with the divorce. She was gorgeous--tall, with long, dark hair pulled back in a braided ponytail and a million dollar smile. Michael seemed to be putting the moves on this woman hard-core. He must be champing at the bit to play the field again.”
