Chris Brown is no stranger to controversy. The X rapper is most known for his 2008 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna. More recently, Brown has been arrested for attacks that involve him allegedly using anti-gay slurs. Those arrests have lead to both lawsuits and rehab for the seemingly homophobic Breezy.
Chris Brown and the openly bi-sexual artist, Frank Ocean, got into a heated dispute earlier this year over a parking spot. The incident escalated into a brawl between the two men's entourages. No charges were filed, but two lawsuits have ensued as a result. During the brawl, members of Brown's enterouge allegedly fired off anti-gay slurs at Ocean.
That was not the only time that brown has been associated with homophobic remarks. During the assault that lead to his most recent arrest, Brown allegedly spouted off even more anti-gay remarks.
Openly gay celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, was on the Wendy Williams Show last month, where he dished on some of Hollywood's hottest stories. Hilton started his gossip off by taking a digg at Chris Brown:
“Chris Brown has a disease. His disease is he has half a brain. I really think he has half of brain. It’s not working properly.”
Brown wasn't too thrilled with report, and tweeted:
“Can’t take advice from 2 buff chicks when one can’t stand to look at herself without plastic surgery and the other is forever on his period.”
Brown is now facing some serious jail time for his action. If the rapper's probation is revoked, he could be put in jail for up to four years. Brown recently entered himself into rehab for his anger management issues. Brown's lawyer recently released a statement to the press about his treatment:
"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility. His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."
