Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards is getting back into the acting game. The reality star recently joined the cast of the long-running NBC soap opera, Days of Our Lives. Now Richards is dishing about her time in Salem.
Kyle Richards is returning to acting. The former Little House on the Prairie actress-turned-reality star is making her mark on daytime television. Richards recently spoke with Glamour about her time on the set of Days of Our Lives:
"I still work, so my manager submitted me for the role. Here I am! I'm playing a modeling agent who is trying to recruit Gabi (Camila Banus). She's very business-y, kinda pushy. I'm trying to get Gabi to sign on that dotted line!"
Richards was asked if she would consider RHOBH a soap opera, to which she responded:
"Well, I don't know. I was in the makeup room today watching the monitor where someone pulls a gun on Marlena, [but] we've had such crazy drama on our show too. We’ve dealt with so much stuff like my sister's alcoholism, the suicide of Taylor’s husband, or divorce. It’s just real issues, and it has been difficult. We’re all a part of each other’s lives, so I don’t know, it’s pretty comparable."
She later spoke about making the adjustment from reality to daytime:
"Well, RHOBH is different because you’re not acting, but no matter how many years I’ve been in this business you get nervous sometimes that first moment--especially [when you’re not on your own turf.] When I rehearse once, I’m OK and I get the nerves out of me."
