Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s 2013 break up didn’t really catch anyone by surprise. After the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s hyper-sexual VMA performance, it seemed fairly logical. And now, Miley is doing it again. Cyrus recently twerked herself into a frenzy and smoked weed on stage at an awards ceremony. Her latest actions come after a wave of rumors that claim she is dating producer Mike WiLL Made It after her split from the Hunger Games star.
The inevitable recently occurred--Miley Cyrus was given a stage and boy did she use it. At MTV’s European Music Awards, the young starlet smoked marijuana on stage while accepting her award. Prior to and after the spectacle, Cyrus showed off her now infamous twerking skills.
Later, Miley responded to the harsh criticism via Twitter, tweeting:
“Sometimes in life you just gotta decide to not give AF.”
Of course, there was at least one group that did give a “f,” and that was MTV. They decided to edit out her smoking weed on the US feed, a move which the reprehensible Parents Television Council applauded.
Her latest antics follow an incredulous piece by The Sun, which claims that the actress/singer may still be in love with her ex, Liam Hemsworth. According to a “source,” Miley has been writing the actor:
"As time has gone on and the anger subsided, Miley has really started to feel the pain of the split. She thought about writing some songs, but then decided, why not write a letter to Liam to tell him exactly how she feels. Miley admitted to Liam she has pushed him away and said sorry for acting so mad.”
The alleged insider goes on to reveal that Miley is still in love with Liam, despite their high-profile split:
"Miley says in her letter she still loves Liam deeply and has asked him to meet up. It could be for closure or it could be to start again, but she just wants to see him and talk things through."
