'Transformers 4: Age of Extinction:' Optimus Prime Rides Dinobot Grimlock In Action Figure Preview, Official Trailer Coming Soon

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction has wrapped filming in Hong Kong and that means that the film's official trailer is coming soon. While fans are awaiting film footage, a new leaked picture from a trade show reveals Optimus Prime riding the Dinobot leader, Grimlock.

A new picture from an unnamed trade show has been circulating that shows Optimus Prime riding the Dinobot Grimlock. The picture is actually a decal promoting the Hasbro toy line. The mighty Grimlock appears to have a skeletal look to him. It was previously rumored that Prime would ride Grimlock in the film, with Bumblebee riding Swoop, a Dinobot pteranadon.

The movie's producer, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, first confirmed the news of the Dinobots to Beijing News:

“I can not disclose the specifics, but you can be sure that the joining of the Dinobots will give the audience new excitement. In addition to Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, the appearance of these classic roles changed, today the world’s coolest, most exciting cars will appear in the film, including China’s vehicles, whether you are a car enthusiast, you will feast your eyes and be shocked by them.”

However, it appears that might be Optimus Prime's last ride. A video from the set in Hong Kong was leaked that heavily implies Optimus Prime will die in the new film. Hollywood Hills has translated the video's voice over, which shows Optimus Prime saying his goodbyes to both Mark Wahlberg (Cade) and the Autobots:

"There remains a price on my head, and I risk endangering you if I stay. Cade when you find the remaining stones, mark one as my soul. Defend this family Autobots, as they have you, goodbye, don't forget me."

Prime's death wouldn't be surprising considered that he die in the original animated film and gad a brief brush with death in Transformers 2.

Transformers: Age of Extinction rides into theaters June 27th, 2014.
