Marvel's underdog team of superheroes, the Guardians of the Galaxy are starting to make a name for themselves. The world has already gotten a look at the bizarre Collector, but it’s Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon that all the cast is buzzing about. The film's official trailer is expected to come out soon. Meanwhile, Iron Man is rumored to be joining the GotG gang.
While most of the world is talking about the Collector, director James Gunn is obsessed over Rocket Raccoon. Gunn recently spoke with MTV News about Bradley Cooper's performance in the role:
"I'm a very controlling guy. [Rocket Raccoon] is a big one for me, and I have very specific ideas about what Rocket Raccoon is like. [Cooper] lets me push him any which way to get where I want to go. He does not give up. He sits there in the studio all day long until his voice is sore and his eyes are bloodshot, and he's bleeding from his nose and ears. But he's turned in some good raccoon voices, so who cares?"
The official Guardians of the Galaxy toy list includes Iron Man amongst its list of action figures. Where it is a common practice for toy lines to include figures that are not in the films, it's likely that the Armored Avenger might make an appearance in GotG. Robert Downey Jr has signed on to play Tony Stark in the new Avengers film and it might be his last time behind the mask. Marvel's president of production, Kevin Feige, recently spoke with the Daily Mail about Iron Man's future, and the possibility of a an Iron Man 4:
“The good news is, I don’t have to think about it for a few years. But I do think Tony Stark is like James Bond or Batman, and can continue with different filmmakers and different actors one day.”
