Cast List Announced for Carnegie Hall’s ‘West Side Story’ with Skylar Astin & Morgan Hernandez

West Side Story is coming to Knockdown Center this March for a special three night concert performance presented by Carnegie Hall. today announced the full cast for its upcoming production of West Side Story. The performance will be directed by Amanda Dehnert. Marin Alsop serves as conductor and music director. The cast includes Skylar Astin (Spring Awakening) as Tony and Morgan Hernandez as Maria. The show will also feature 14 high school students from New York and New Jersey, as well as a choir of nearly 200 students from all five New York Burroughs as part of the Somewhere Project.

The complete cast list for Carnegie Hall’s upcoming performance of West Side Story will include 14 high school students from New York and New Jersey in addition to the professional performers. A choir of nearly 200 teens from 25 high schools in New York City will join the cast“Somewhere,” the “Tonight Quintet,” “One Hand, One Heart,” “I Feel Pretty,” and the “Jet Song,” with arrangements specially created for this production by Thomas Cabaniss.
