The new extended trailer for Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier is now playing during 3D showings of Thor 2: The Dark World. However, you don't have to head out to the theater to catch the clip. A leaked version of the sneak peek has popped up online. Meanwhile, actor Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon in the new Cap film, was arrested for drunk driving over the weekend.
It was only a matter of time before the exclusive preview of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which aired before 3D showings of Thor: The Dark World, found its way to the Internet in quality bootleg form.
The exclusive extended preview starts off with the trailer's now famous elevator scene. In the new clip, Cap gets inside a glass elevator that slowly fills up with corrupt S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. The agents are lead by Brock Rumlow, the man who becomes masked villain Crossbones. Cap makes quick work of the gang, before reaching his floor.
The rest of the clip shows various footage from the film, all leading up to a brand new shot of Cap's former war buddy, Bucky Barnes, in full Winter Soldier gear, grabbing Captain America's shield--a weapon that many comic fans are aware of.
The clip also features footage of Anthony Mackie as the Avenger Falcon. Mackie was arrested over the weekend for drunk driving. The actor was pulled over in Harlem, early Saturday morning. According to reports, he refused to take a breathalyzer test. Mackie was later taken to the Manhattan Criminal Court building for arraignment. We will bring you more on this story when it develops.
