Sleepy Hollow is getting back into gear after a brief hiatus. The show has already been renewed for a second season, and now it's adding Fringe star John Noble to its cast. Reports are also surfacing that the show's female lead, Nicole Beharie, bit a member of the crew.
Fringe star John Noble spoke with USA Today about his new character, Henry Parrish, a.k.a, The Sin-Eater:
"He's like the sage, the elder statesman who gets brought in rather reluctantly and agrees to help. I have to sense there's a connection with Ichabod that will play out. Both are complex men with big secrets, and both have a certain charm about them."
Noble also spoke with Today about the character's powers:
“He has the ability to remove evil from a person in a sense, so hence the name The Sin Eater. Even though he doesn’t want to, he’s called into action basically to save Ichabod’s life.”
Meanwhile, new rumors have emerged that Nicole Beharie has been having some problems off-set. The actress who plays cop/biblical-witness Abbie Mills has apparently been sinking her teeth into her new role. Star recently spoke with an insider, who alleges that Beharie took a bite out of her stylist Joyce:
“Nicole asked Joyce ‘Are your hands clean?’ and then bit her hand--hard! Poor Joyce ended up at the hospital for a tetanus shot, plus hepatitis and HIV testing.”
The source also added that Beharie didn't remember her bizarre behavior:
“The next day she texted Joyce asking, ‘Why aren’t you on set doing my hair? Is everything okay at home?’"
The Star source added that the incident has left it's mark on the actress:
"The cast and crew think there’s something seriously wrong with her...They keep barking at her like dogs that bite when she walks by.”
