The feud between Gwyneth Paltrow and Vanity Fair continues to heat up. Rumors are now surfacing that the 41-year-old actress is asking her celebrity friends to boycott the publication's annual Oscar party. Meanwhile, the magazine is planning to move ahead with it's cheating expose about the actress. The new issue's release date is reportedly coming soon.
Reports are surfacing that Gwyneth Paltrow has been asking her a-list friends to boycott Vanity Fair's annual Oscar party. Radar Online spoke with an anonymous source who claims:
"Gwyneth feels her relationship with the magazine has been destroyed and she’s urging pals not just to avoid doing business with the magazine, but to skip the mag’s Oscar party as well. To be frank, she wants to shut their Oscar party down entirely."
However, a rep for the actress told Mail Online that the reports we're not true, adding:
"Gwyneth has not asked anyone to not attend the party."
Paltrow is reportedly staging a boycott of Vanity Fair over an upcoming issue that will allegedly expose her affair with billionaire Jeff Soffer. However, many believed that the magazine decided to drop the story when it didn't appear in the latest issue. Although it appears that the publication is just holding off on the issue, a second source spoke with Radar Online about the issue's new release date:
“It’s still going to run and it could possibly break online in the next two-three weeks. Too many resources have been plowed into it and too many bridges have been burned for it to be killed.”
The source later added that Paltrow is destroyed still on the defensive:
“She wants the magazine’s reputation before they can even publish anything on her.”
