Rumors are flying that Anne Hathaway is pregnant with her husband, Adam Shulman’s, baby. The news comes as Hathaway begins filming her upcoming movie, Interstellar. Ironically, it was her brother, Tom Hathaway, who spilled the beans in a recent comedy set.
It looks like the Oscar-winning actress may be ready to take on a new role--that of a mother. On October 30, Anne’s brother Tom confirmed that his sister was pregnant. According to an audience member who spoke to Star, even Tom was shocked by what he said:
“[Tom] said, ‘My sister got married last year, and now she is about to be a mom.’ I don’t think he realized what he had done.”
Don’t put all of the blame on poor Tom, because a number of insider’s have stepped forward about Anne’s pregnancy. Another source told the publication:
“Anne is over the moon and Adam is extremely giddy. She’s been waiting to get pregnant for a while but knew that she needed to wait for the right time. They are more than ready for this next chapter in their lives...She’s filming now, but hasn’t lined up any major future projects. She and Adam want to put all their time and energy into that baby.”
Of course, Anne hasn’t been shy about wanting to start a family. In the past, Anne has talked about how long she’s been waiting to be a mom:
“I’ve wanted to be a mom since I was 16. I’ll start with one healthy kid, but I’d like to have a few naturally and adopt. I’d like as many as I can afford.”
