More baby mama drama for DJ Pauly D. Before the Jersey Shore star could even meet his daughter, Amanda Markert, the mother, took to Twitter. Ahead of the upcoming custody battle, Markert ranted about money on the social media network.
Amanda formally reached out to Pauly D on October 31. According to the young woman, she was having difficulty speaking to the reality star:
"Since we last spoke I don't have any way to get in touch with you directly and I think we can solve this by talking ASAP.”
She also took time to complain about money, despite having recently posted a photo of the child surrounded by $100 bills. She also confirmed rumors that an abortion was discussed:
"I have been financially supporting Amabella MYSELF for the past 5 months...I saw the ultrasound. I heard the heartbeat. I couldn't go through with it..."
Pauly, himself, took time to address the situation. The record-spinning reality star told Radar Online:
“Sometimes in life things aren’t planned and they may even scare you at first, but they end up being a blessing, that is how I feel about having a daughter. I’m looking forward to being a parent to her.”
That’s pretty civil of Pauly, especially considering the mother’s behavior. Numerous reports indicate that Amanda is looking to use their child for money. One source who recently spoke to OK! Magazine concurs :
“She has said it’s ‘her baby.’ He cannot meet her. What he can do is buy her a home, a car and write child support checks. Pauly think it’s disgusting...Pauly says he wants to be a father, not a bank.”
