Rumors spread last week that Wonder Woman may appear in the upcoming Batman Vs Superman film. Thor's Jamie Alexander sparked speculation that she might be cast to play the heroine, when she revealed that she was in talks with DC Comics. Now, actress Olga Kurylenko has also been connected with the role. Speculation has also been increasing that Robin/Nightwing will appear in the Man of Steel sequel, as hopes of a Justice League film continues to grow.
Last week, it was revealed that Jamie Alexander was in talks with Warner Brothers to play the role of Wonder Woman in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. Now, an anyomous source known only as The Phantom, told SchmoesKnow that a new actress was up for the role:
"Olga Kurylenko is testing for the Wonder Woman role."
Reports are also surfacing that Batman's sidekick, Dick Grayson, will appear in the film. Grayson was the first Robin and currently fights crime under the moniker Nightwing.
El Mayimbe of Latino Review broke the story after doing some investigation:
"According to a very trusted source, the rumor is that Dick Grayson (aka Nightwing) is going to be in the movie. The reason I say rumor is that for the last couple of weeks I've been trying to get the scoop confirmed, but because of the ultra-secrecy surrounding the project, it's been almost impossible...I checked in with my agency sources and there is a breakdown out there, where the production is looking for a young, John Hawkestype. I'm not saying they're casting him in the movie. But they're looking for a younger version of him and there have been some names that have auditioned for this 'young John Hawkes' role, which I'm told is Dick Grayson."
Since the film stars the 41-year-old, Ben Affleck as Batman, it stands to reason that he would be at the point in career where he has a sidekick.
