Austin Mahone is recovering from the near death illness he suffered late last month. The 17-year-old up and coming artist is now gearing up for a new tour and has announced the release date for his new single, "Banga! Banga!"
Last month, Austin Mahone was almost on his death bed. The teen singing sensation was hospitalized with a bad fever. His rep released a statement to the press that explained his dire condition:
“Austin Mahone was admitted to the hospital with 104 temperature and is being treated for a blood clot and extreme inflammation in his throat as well as severe dehydration.”
The singer also commented, himself, when he tweeted fans from his hospital bed:
"Hey Mahomies [fans] I’m so so so sorry but I have to reschedule the shows tomorrow in Miami and in Orlando. I can’t believe this is happening its my first tour I’m so upset. I feel like I’m letting you all down."
Thankfully, the worst is now behind him, and Mahone is now recovering.
Mahone recently spoke with E!, where he said that he is gearing up to go back on tour:
“I’m feeling a lot better since my hospital scare I’ve really been taking every precaution to stay healthy and now I’m really excited to say that I’ll finally be able to perform again.”
He also announced that he will be releasing a new single very soon, adding:
“I’ll be performing my new single, ‘Banga! Banga!’ which will be out on Nov. 10. I’m just so happy to get back out there for my Mahomies who have stuck by me and sent me so many well wishes over the past couple of weeks.”
