Disney Channel star Ross Lynch has a bright future ahead of him. From his starring role in Austin & Ally to the hit musical, Teen Beach Movie, the 17-year-old heartthrob is on track to be the next Zac Efron (minus the cocaine). Lynch also fronts the band R5 with his siblings. The family group recently released a new album, titled Louder.
Ross Lynch is the latest well mannered (currently, at least) young star to take the Disney Channel by storm. The actor stars in his own sitcom, Austin and Ally, where he plays the up-and-coming pop star, Austin Moon. The show provides the talented young actor with the perfect vehicle to show off his singing and dance skills.
If that wasn't enough to earn a place on the walls of tween girls everywhere, the 17-year-old also starred in Disney's smash hit, Teen Beach Movie. The musical helps solidify Lynch's place as the rightful successor to Zac Efron's Disney Channel crown.
The overachieving young actor/singer/dancer is just one member of an amazingly talented family. Lynch and his siblings, who all have names that start with the letter R, have formed a family band called R5. The pop group recently released their debut album, Louder. The band's official website calls the describes the record:
"In its 11 tracks, Louder establishes R5 as the foremost up-and-coming young pop/rock band today. 'We wanted to put out a fun album,' says Rydel Lynch (keyboards/vocals) who, with her brothers Riker (bass/vocals), Ross (lead vocals/guitar) and Rocky (guitar/vocals), and best friend Ratliff (drums) make up R5. 'We wanted to make an upbeat and Inspirational album you want to play 24/7.'"
If Ross Lynch can manage to keep his nose clean then the talent young actor and his equally talented family all have bright futures ahead of them.
