For most of 2013, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have been plagued with divorce and cheating rumors. Those allegations have since started to wane, after the two country music stars took home the top awards from last night’s CMA Awards.
Not only did Blake Shelton win album of the year for his hit record, Based on a True Story, but he also won best male vocalist. This was especially fitting, considering his wife took home the female equivalent of the same award.
Blake and Miranda have been generating a ton of headlines lately, but they haven’t always been as favorable as the latest. For months now, tabloids and gossip sites have predicted the death of their marriage and indicated that each member has cheated on the other.
While National Enquirer was among the first to report the ridiculous claims, it was Star who took the allegations to a whole new level. The gossip rag quoted a source who alleged that Miranda hooked up with fellow country singer and friend, Jamey Johnson:
“Blake feels like an idiot. He’s furious at Miranda for not being honest about the affair. And he never thought Jamey would stab him in the back like that.”
According to the same source, it was Jamey’s crew who made the first discovery. The boys were looking for Jamey but discovered much more upon entering the tour bus:
“They thought he was just there taking a break. But when they walked to the back of the bus and opened the door to the lounge, they found Miranda on top of Jamey, having sex with him!”
The tabloids don’t stop at cheating rumors, either. They also claim that Miranda and Blake are considering having a baby. Life & Style quoted an anonymous source, who revealed:
“Blake and Amanda are trying for a baby…hopefully by the end of the year...It will happen when it’s meant to happen.”
