'TVD,' Nina Dobrev and Ex Boyfriend Ian Somerhalder PCA Nominations For 'Delena,' Paul Wesley Love Triangle [UPDATE]

The Vampire Diaries cast is celebrating their recent People Choice Award nominations. Nina Dobrev and her ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder, both received individual nods, as well as one combined nomination for their on-screen romance. Delena's PCA Nomination leaves Paul Wesley the third wheel in the love triangle.

Nina Dobrev brought home a PCA Nomination for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress. She announced her joy over Twitter:

"I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD NOMINATIONS!!! Thank you for voting and continuing to vote! So much..."

She also sent some congratulations out to her TVD co-star who was nominated for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor.

"And a congrats shout out to @iansomerhalder for his nomination in the Best SciFi Actor category! Way to represent the male Vampires! Kill it!"

Somerhalder has some tough competition. He is facing off against Supernatural's Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, as well as The Walking Dead's Andrew Lincoln and Arrow's Stephen Amell.

Somerhalder and Dobrev also share a nomination for Favorite On-Screen Chemistry.

The ex-couple have remained very close following their recent breakup. Rumors have also been circulating that the pair remain "friends with benefits." Dobrev has also been connected with her co-star Paul Wesley. Wesley didn't receive any nominations for his work on the show. However, Delena might not have too much longer together, as Ian Somerhalder said in a recent interview with Live With Kelly & Michael:

"You can't be too happy in Mystic Falls. He got the girl, finally. It's cute, man. You've got this guy who's a maniacal killer, with the same look on his face whether he's saving a kitten from a tree or ripping your face off, and he's in love. It's cute...And it's not going to last, probably."

Voteing for the 2014 PCA ends on December 5, 2013. Let us know who you think should win in the comments section below.
