Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Divorce and Cheating Rumors Subside Over Tour and CMA Award

For months, rumors have been flying that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are getting a divorce. Claims that Tim was cheating, however, have subsided, since it was announced that the duo would be on tour in Vegas and Tim landed himself a CMA award.

Even before the awards show aired, Tim knew that he was going home a winner. It was announced on Good Morning America that Tim would be winning for his song, “Highway Don’t Care.”

Tim and Faith also recently sat down with the press, where the couple took time to plug their upcoming performances at The Venetian. This isn’t the first time that the couple has performed at the Las Vegas venue, as McGraw explained (via LA Times):

"We made the most out of our short time in Vegas [earlier this year] and had a lot of fun onstage and offstage, but it seemed like it was over just as we were getting good and warmed up. The reaction was impossible to ignore, so it was a total no-brainer to add more shows when the Venetian asked us.”

While neither Hill nor McGraw commented on the status of their relationship, Faith was quick to emphasize the role of family in their relationship:

"Tim and I love performing together, but it's been such a scheduling challenge the last few years because we have two careers and three teenage daughters' school and social calendars to coordinate around.”

It makes sense that Faith would mention her lovely family and the focus they place on family, especially considering all of the negative press the couple has been receiving. One publication, The National Examiner, has been hitting the couple hard.

Of course, the cheating and divorce claims were immediately refuted by the couple’s official spokesperson. Tim didn’t help matters, however, when he showed up to the iHeartRadio Music Festival without his wedding ring.

According to a source at Hollywood Daily Life, this was a signal of the end of their relationship:

“Faith is heartbroken that her family is falling apart, and she was just blown away that Tim would take his ring off. It was a declaration of war on Faith. He stared straight at the cameras and didn’t bother to hide the fact that his wedding band was off.”
