There has been another update in the arrest of Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa and Joe Giudice. Joe has an approaching court date for forgery charges he is facing. This latest announcement comes after the two already appeared in court for serious fraud accusations.
It is not a great year for the Giudice family, and it looks like things are going to soon be even worse. On November 19, Joe will appear in court to address allegations that he used his brother’s ID to when his own was taken, after being convicted of a DUI.
Joe was scheduled to appear in court at a previous date, however, his attorney’s schedule called for a postponement. NJ.com previously reported on the matter:
“The most recent delay was due to a scheduling conflict for Giudice's lawyer, Miles Feinstein, who was representing a man charged with murder in Sussex County. Feinstein has said that Giudice turned down several plea deals from prosecutors because they wanted him to serve substantially more prison time than other alleged offenders, and claimed his celebrity played a role in the decision to go after his client.”
Of course, these aren’t even the most serious offenses that Joe is facing. Both he and Teresa are facing up to 50 years in jail and millions of dollars in fines, as they are accused of federal fraud violations.
The stress has been really getting to the family. In particular, Teresa is struggling with their mounting legal woes, according to a source who spoke to OK! Magazine. The family insider revealed that Teresa recently collapsed from the anxiety:
“Teresa wants everyone to think she is this tough, together Italian women, but the truth is she is scared. The night before her court appearance was too much for her to handle. She felt sick to her stomach and threw up several times before she broke down crying...When she calmed down, she forced herself to drink orange juice to get her blood sugar up.”
Since it was revealed that the 41-year-old socialite was facing a 39-count indictment, she has all but stopped eating. The stress of the situation has her wasting away. while Joe tries to get her help. The source continued:
“Joe begged her to eat something but she just couldn’t. Teresa was horrified because she is doing everything she can to shield her children from this nightmare and she knows if they see her freak out, they’ll freak out.”
