Beyonce, Chris Martin and Bruno Mars may have sent the Super Bowl 50 fans into a frenzy when they gave their epic performances during the half time show on February 7, but it was Lady Gaga who had warmed up the crowd from the very start. The 29-year-old is known for her extreme performances and eccentric costumes but she managed to gave a very beautiful rendition of the National Anthem at the highly-anticipated event and the crowd went wild.
Gaga stood infront of the NFL superstars and the cheering crowd, looking very polished in a red power suit, ditching her flamboyant dresses for a mature and elegant look.
She then posted her Gucci platforms on her Instagram account. "Red White and Sparkly Blue. Thank you Alessandro for my beautiful custom outfit tonight! #gucci," she wrote for the caption.
She also posted an up-close shot of her sparkly red eyeshadow that completed her amazing patriotic look and wrote, "Star Spangled Red-Slipper eyes! @sarahtannomakeup @fredericaspiras acting real silly today!!"
Everybody already knew that Gaga can sing and she is a very talented performer, but people began to see her as much more than a random pop star when she gave a flawless tribute to The Sound of Music for the movie's 50th anniversary.
Even Julie Andrews, who played Maria in the iconic movie, had nothing but good things to say about Gaga's performance.
"She hit it out of the ballpark," the legend told People magazine about the performance.
