Keeping Up with the Kardashians Lamar and Khloe are likely headed towards divorce. Still, on the latest episode of the hit reality show, Kardashian defended Odom, who has been accused of cheating and using drugs. In public, however, Khloe has removed her wedding ring.
Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians was one of the more emotional episodes--it also featured a lecture about drug use from Bruce Jenner.
Kendall and her father were talking about Cory Monteith’s tragic death, which prompted Bruce to tell his daughters:
“Lesson to be learned: stay away. Really, really, really stupid. Waste of a life… It is a personal choice. You know what you’re doing? You’re taking the responsibility away from the person. [Cory] had a choice to take drugs. It’s his own fault. You can’t blame anybody else but him.”
Kourtney, however, is insistent that it’s a disease. While she has so far remained silent on Odom’s alleged drug addiction, she did tell the E! cameras, via SF Gate:
“Lamar has been having a really tough time lately. And it’s not just black and white – there’s a lot of emotional issues. It’s really scary when nothing’s really working and you know if you give up, no one in his life will be able to help.”
And it appears that Khloe really is worried about her husband giving up. Over the summer, numerous reports claimed that Lamar was suicidal. One family friend told OK! Magazine:
“Throughout this whole crisis, Lamar’s cut out virtually everyone, but he’s always maintained contact with Khloe, so the fact that he’s now not returning her calls or texts is freaking her out...Lamar suffers from the blues. He’s said things like, ‘It’s all just too much,’ and ‘I’m too tired to deal with this anymore,’ and even worse, ‘I can’t take much more of this.’ Khloe is terrified of losing her best friend and husband.”
Of course, Khloe, herself, has been accused of using drugs. A recent article in Star claims that Khloe used drugs at an iHeartRadio Music Festival, at a party hosted by Miley:
“Khloe was a hot mess at Miley’s party. She sat in the corner with her hair all over her face, swaying. She did at least 5 tequila shots with no chasers and couldn’t handle it. Then she proceeded to smoke a lot of pot...Khloe is brokenhearted, and she’s self-medicating just to get from one day to the next.”
